Oven Baked Salmon with Garlic

Fast, flaky salmon with a buttery garlic finish.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper
  • Chopped parsley (optional)

Steps

  1. Heat oven to 200°C.
  2. Place salmon on a lined tray. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon.
  3. Scatter garlic, season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake 10 to 14 minutes depending on thickness.
  5. Finish with parsley and serve.

Tip: Do not overbake. Salmon is best when it flakes easily but stays moist.
